What to expect
From the first message to your touch-up, with nothing skipped. If you have never done this before, this is the page to read.
Step by step
-
You send a request
Through my booking page, with a bit about what you are after. It is a request rather than an instant booking — I read each one and reply myself.
-
You talk it through
Questions, photographs, what is realistic, what it involves. Entirely in writing if that is easier. For areola work I will ask about timing and where you are in your recovery.
-
You book
Reminders and messages all run through Venue, and my current prices are on that same booking page.
-
Before the day
Ask me what to do and what to avoid beforehand. It differs by service, so ask me rather than following something general from the internet. Eat first. This kind of work takes longer than people expect.
-
The appointment
One client in the studio at a time, in a private room. The appointment is yours. We settle shape, placement and color at the mirror before I pick up a needle, and nothing starts until you like what you see drawn on. You can ask me to pause at any point, for any reason.
-
Your written aftercare
Specific to what you had done, and published where you can read it any time. My brow aftercare and my areola aftercare are different documents. Follow yours.
-
Healing
Expect it to look darker first, then flake, then come back lighter than the day you left. Some pigment lifts with the scabbing. That is not a mistake, it is the process. Message me if anything worries you, and call your own doctor about anything that looks like an infection.
-
A touch-up, six to ten weeks later
Once healing has shown what your skin kept, light areas can be evened out and the shape refined. It is a normal second step, not a repair.
Nothing on this page is medical advice, and it is not a substitute for my written aftercare or for your own doctor. If you think you have an infection or a reaction, contact a physician.
My prices are on my booking page. Sending a request is not a booking. I confirm each one myself. Opens in a new tab.
